The 1st Annual Miss Maurice Beauty Pageant and Baby Contest is set for February 14th, 2026 in Maurice at The North Vermilion High School in the Gymnasium! Pageant is open to all ages starting with babies thru Senior ladies In Vermilon ad surrounding Parishes!
Children’s Pageant
Doors open at 9:45AM
Registration begins at 10:00AM to 10:45AM
Competition starts at 11:00AM
Children’s Pageant Age Divisions
Baby Miss….. 0 to 11 mos.
Tiny Miss….. 12 to 23 mos.
Toddler Miss….. 2 to 3 years old
Petite Miss….. 4 to 5 yrs. old
Little Miss….. 6 to 8 yrs. old
Deb Miss….. 9 to 10 years old
Dress Attire
Sundays best, something your child would wear to church or a party. Smock dress is fine also. Think Valentine colors but can be any color. May wear socks or no socks! The dress can have sparkly stuff on it but Nothing too glitzy please!
Hair ribbons are fine! Dresses can be a short of t length as divisions get older! Ruffles are also fine.
Hair and Makeup for All Divisions
Our children’s pageant is considered a natural pageant! Meaning light makeup like lip gloss, light mascara and blush can be worn by ages 4 and older! No fake hair pieces allowed!
For Preteen thru Senior Divisions, contact Jake Faul at the Salon 337-281-1267 to save your spots. First come basis and spots are limited!
Our Official Hair and Makeup Artist will be available for hair and makeup services once you register with their prices posted at their work table. Jake Faul and Angie Esquivel are both employed at Village Hair Salon in Maurice and can be contacted by calling the Salon at 337-281-1267.
You can request your child to be put on their list for services and they can quote you a price!
Entry Fee and Optional Categories
Entry Fee is $75 for All Age Divisions
This is all that is required to compete and win!
Please bring a photo for Photogenic competition
Can be any size picture but keep in mind 5x7 or 8x10 work best! There will be a winner in each age division including Best Hair, Best Eyes, Best Fashion and Best Smile along with 1st, 2nd and 3rd alternate!
Overall Photogenic is $20
Supreme is $20 and this is the Queen with the highest score in the groups wins $100 cash
Overall Fashion is $10
Overall Most Beautiful is $10 and these winners get a Beautiful Rhine Stone Crown on stage!
The other categories are only optional and have to bearing on the out come of the winners!
Stage And Modeling
The contestants are scored 1 to 10 in Facial Beauty, Poise and Personality and Overall Appearance! They are not scored on modeling so they can win even it’s their first experience!
Parents are welcome to walk their little ones on stage. There will be X‘s on stage and the contestants are asked to walk to the X’s and stop and smile for the judges!
